​Childcare Credit Application Form

This form is only to be used for submitting a new application. Any amendments to an existing 'award' should be notified by emailing ChildcareCredit.DESC@gov.im

Parents or guardians of children resident on the Isle of Man are eligible for a pre-school credit for the school year in which the child attains their third or fourth birthday. There is a universal credit of £4,166 per qualifying child. The credit is redeemable with child day-care providers who are registered with the Department of Health and Social Care. To claim the universal credit:
• complete the lead parent details
• complete the child's details
• complete the declaration

Note: We use 'partner' to mean a person you are married to or in a civil partnership with, or a person you live with as if you are married or in a civil partnership. 

If your child/children’s birth was not registered on the Isle of Man we will require a copy of their birth certificate to verify their date of birth. This can be emailed to ChildcareCredit.DESC@gov.im at the time of submitting this application.
